Troy's Gone Walkabout
Sights. Delights. Half-Baked Anecdotes.
Western Europe - Jun-Jul 2000
Stonehenge (England). Tiny B&B in Farnham (England).

Accepting the FA Cup at Wembley Stadium, London. Arc de Triomphe, Paris.

From the Arc de Triomphe, Paris. The curvy front steps of the palace at Fontainebleau (France).

A touch of the Incas on the France-Spain border. One of the most striking apartment buildings I've ever come across, French Riviera.

Looking out the Colisseum, Rome. Inside the Pantheon, Rome.

Gondola ride, Venice. Mauthausen Concentration Camp (Austria).

A most attractive cemetery, Lauterbrunnen (Switzerland). Heidelberg (Germany).

St Goar (Germany). The two single mattresses pushed together in the small hotels took some getting used to. Dave and I mark out our territory.

After an afternoon at the pub in Oxford, I just ducked out for a quick leak while caught in a traffic jam on the M40 as Jon and Mick took me to the airport. The traffic cleared slightly while I was busy and I had quite the jog back to catch up to the car.
Thanks to Mick for this photo.
Back home again. I was knackered.
